This series is awesome. Its a 5 book series, and trust me, you will want the next book as you finish each one. I feel for everyone who had to wait in between each publishing. It follows a group of friends from high school to college. As we go through we really get to know and care about the characters and watch them come into themselves, really grow. Theirs are tales of growing, angst, love, heartache and friendship. There were times that I was really loving the story and then there were times that I wanted to throw my kindle in frustration at the characters. Yes i became that invested and I think that you will too! I was given a complimentary copy of this series for an honest review, but went ahead and bought it because I wanted show my support for this talented author, and OMG it was only 99 cents!Product details

I have a love/hate relationship with every JL Beck book I have read, and this one wasn't any different. I absolutely loved it, then hated that it was over.
She takes you on a journey into the lives of Rex, Ryder, Corey, Jenna, Mimi, & Kennedy, and what a good journey it was.
It brought out a full range of emotions for me and I read this whole boxed set in one sitting. I seriously could not put it down!

I am convinced this is the way to read books. No waiting one after the other. It's a roller coaster of emotions.
Questionable friends, love, hate and secrets.
The boys are super yummy even though I wanted to strangle Corey. It broaches several different topics that are very relatable and common. So I was able to connect with the characters.
The books starts off on their last year in HS to college so it gets pretty sexy. It starts off with Jenna then continues with Mimi.
I really enjoyed reading the books.

These books will keep you hanging on every word, there is friendship, love and heartbreak. It follows Jenna and her best friend Mimi as well as the Winchester cousins Corey and Rex from high school into college. It all starts with Corey who is Jenna’s ex-boyfriend bullying her and making her life hell and his cousin rex standing up for her. You fall in love with the characters and the relationships they have with each other from the very first page. All five books are in the set for the great price of only .99 cents. I highly recommend The Bittersweet Reunion collection trust me you will not be disappointed.

These 5 books begins in High School with two best friends, Mimi and Jenna who is harrassed by her ex-boyfriend Corey. Corey's got the whole school calling Jenna every name in the book. She is all but willing to give up until Rex, who is also Corey's cousin, comes along but also ends up being a jerk to her. Mimi is the baddest best friend any girl would want, she fights for her friend.
They end up leaving Wisconsin for California for college. The boys follow. Jenna forgives Rex. Riley, Rex's twin, fights for Kennedy's love because she is also tormented by a her high school bully.
Mia and Corey end up together while trying to find each other in the process.
This is the first time I read J.L. Beck's novels. Overall she tells a great story. Lots of angst which makes for a good read.
I was given an ARC of Bittersweet Reunion The complete series books 1-5 by J.L. Beck for an honest review, so here goes...While I read each book as they were originally released, I re read them when I was given the reunion series. The story is just that great to re read. We get to see all the drama/issues that follow along through high school and into college. Josi has written a great series and all of the books are great reads. I love how she intertwines all of the characters in each book, she doesn't just stop with one couple she continues the story into the next so you can see what happens. You don't always get that. She throws in some surprises along the way and it keeps you turning the page. If you haven't read any of her books, you should do so. I recommend you go and one click now. Happy reading. I have to say, it took me a minute to come up with the right words to do this author justice! She's simply amazing in all her work.
In this boxed set, you get the complete Bittersweet Series.
She starts you off with books one and two, introducing you to Jenna, practically a loner subjected to bullies, and always getting picked on. My heart cried out for this girl and I throughly enjoyed watching things unfurl for her and Rex. In book 3, 4, and 5, we are focused on Mimi and Corey.
Corey is a jerk, and the sole reason to Jenna's high school hardships. But Corey and Mimi fall in love, but not without hardships of their own. Can they overcome them?
This boxed set focuses on 5 main characters, but 2 main relationships stick out and they'll have you all twisted up in a mess you won't know how to feel. And that's Mrs.Becks style. She knows how to make you feel and keeps you clinching your seat, guessing and anticipating everything to come. If you haven't read anything from this author, this is the perfect place to start, and then you'll enjoy everything else she's wrote.
